In order to prepare tax returns or to perform other service that you have requested, we collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources: Information furnished by you, including tax documents, questionnaires, and worksheets; Information obtained from third parties whom you have authorized us to contact on your behalf, such as stockbrokers, bankers, and attorneys; Information about you obtained in the course of performing services for other clients, such as your employer, or family members or business associates.

  • We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our clients or former clients to anyone, except as permitted by law.

  • We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to members of our firm who need to know that information to provide services to you.

  • All returns that are electronically filed are processed in house.

  • We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards complying with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.  

 

Data Collection Policy for Text Messaging

This policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your data when you opt-in to receive appointment reminders via text message.

1. Information We Collect: When you opt-in to receive text message reminders, we collect the following information:

  • Your mobile phone number
  • Your name (optional)

2. How We Use Your Information: The information collected will be used solely for the purpose of sending you appointment reminders. We will not use your information for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

3. Opt-In Process: To receive appointment reminders via text message, you must opt-in by replying “YES” to our opt-in message. By doing so, you agree to receive text messages from Hayden’s Tax Service regarding your appointments.

4. Opt-Out Process: You can opt-out of receiving text message reminders at any time by replying “STOP” to any of our messages. Once you opt-out, you will no longer receive text message reminders from us.

5. Data Security: We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
